Flo promotes itself as the No. 1 women’s health app that focuses on period tracking, ovulation tracking, and pregnancy tracking.

The problem

Flo has been a dependable app, consistently providing its users with a reliable product since its inception. However, the absence of fresh content over time can pose significant challenges for brands. Without innovation and new offerings, a brand may become stagnant, losing its appeal and failing to capture the ongoing interest of its target audience. This stagnation can lead to a decline in user engagement and overall interest, ultimately threatening the brand's long-term success and relevance in the market. Regularly updating and evolving content is essential to maintaining consumer interest and staying competitive.

The strategy

To improve user experience, I curated a personalized subscription box tailored to the cravings that humans often experience during that time of the month. This thoughtful selection aimed to provide comfort and satisfaction, enhancing the overall customer experience. Additionally, I expanded product interaction by creating valuable, relevant, and consistent content designed to attract and engage my target audience. This content not only informed but also connected with customers on a personal level, fostering a stronger relationship with the brand. To further this engagement and build brand awareness, I developed a comprehensive social media campaign. Leveraging various platforms, I promoted the subscription box, interacted with customers, and significantly boosted the brand’s visibility and appeal.
